Foundation Production Portfolio Proposal

i have decided to create a music magazine as this is what im more interested in. the kind of music nagazine i will do is a rock magazine like Kerrang! or NME. i will include things like interviews with bands, tour dates, reviews and pictures of the bands. the target audience will be teenagers and early 20's, i will make the text fun and exciting to look at, will different fonts and sizes. i will use a variety of magazines to help me withe layout and style of my magazine.

Flat Plan

i have done a plan of a magazine cover that i am going to make. ive included a masthead, main image, main sell-line, sell-lines and essential info. these are all appropriate for the magazine cover and makes up a magazine cover. the mast head is at the top as it would be the first thing you read, this would be bigger than the rest and in bold text. the main images should fill the whole page, this will be the image that persuades the audience to buy the mgazine and read it. the main sell- line would be centeral as it is the most important story in the magazine and most likley what the audience wants to read. the essential info would be at the bottom, because it takes no part in persuading the audience.
