Target Audience

my target audience  will be teenagers who are into music. i specifically aimed for teenagers as i think they are easier to create for, i also chose this because i am also around there age range so i kind of know what they expect from a music magazine. most teenagers use he internet for news, social websites and music. this s why aiming a music magazine at teenagers is a good idea. a lot of the things teenagers do involve music. teenagers usually by things like drinks, energy drinks, clothes, games and some buy music. i could try and include things to do with clothes or something in my magazine to interest my target audience and get them to read my magazine.

preferred font, colours and sell-lines

i have chose a few different fonts for my magazine as i think the if you have a few it will look less boring and a bit more exciting. i had a look and found ones that weren't too difficult too read or see but weren't childish or a too over the top. so i chose a text that was simple and easy too use but looked good. For the title/ logo i needed one that stood out more so i got a simple text that was bold and looked alright and the edited it, i used a took that would make it look like bits weren't there. i also gave it s shine around the edges which makes it stand out.
for my colours i didn't want a colour that was too bright, i wanted a nice colour that people would like. i decided one would be black, i would use this for most of the text so it looked normal and professional and it was easy to use but didn't look stupid. i also chose burgundy, this is because ive noticed recently that it has become more of a popular colour with teenagers, on there clothes etc. so i thought they would like the colours. i also thought i looked really nice with the black.
for the front page i will have different sell lines that tell the audience about what is in my magazine, these will be music related as it is a music magazine. i could use artists like Keith Richard's etc. someone who people know to get them interested. i will have a bigger sell line for the main article and my double page spread this will link in with my photo and i will look better and be more in your face so people will look at it.
